that Bloggin has :just: suddenly shot through the roof, but I've been doing
it here all this time. Isn't it the hip new thing
that all the kids are onto? Naw du, you just found out about it.
But despite what everybody says, I've found it to
be both kew and useful.

Here I try to connect events
from when I stopped writing and almost totally lost my sense of direction.
Points from here on aren't quite
as organized. I was trying to connect events all
the way from earlier this year when production was in full swing
(I was writing as many as three
pages a day), and up until I had records and documentation. A
smooth segue, if you will. And then
the move from Chicago to New York was an official big deal.
What was I up to? Has life suddenly
gotten busy again? Details follow.

Gave myself a break and getting a
haircut later today.

road trip tomorrow with Shri Kemp to New Yawk, baby! :)
The haircut turned out to be a BUST!
me: "Jou know howta do a 'George
Clooney'?"
(translated: I want George Clooney's
haircut. Yup, the ER doc that women all :used to: swoon for)
barber: "what's that?".
me: "A Caesar-cut, like Russell
Crowe has, in Gladiator".
barber: "Oh yeah, sure I do ..."
(translated: I don't know what the
heck a Caesar cut is, but I'll chop yer mop off anyway!)
Moral of the story: NEVER fall asleep
when getting anything done to your hair.
Bard College, good memories. Took
me and Paul Kemp TWENTYFOUR hours of driving to get to school,
and a cold, cramped sleepstop in
Snowshoe, PA. Arrived Fri Noonish to find my sleeping princess tucked
in bed, and woke her up with a kiss.
The Senior Dance Projects were ohso-Kew. Sel's minimalist,
heartbeat driven insectoid was Key.
Other likes: the GAP (heheh) and Mandy's cr-hypen-azy Epilogues.
Videotape necessito ! You shoulda
been there...

Bard's 140th Commencement Rites. Finally!
Took a slew of pictures of the Graduate

...Packing took some 4-plus hours,
then the two hour drive to Brooklyn.
Monday Memorial Day was her mom's
50th Birthday!

one's in NYC! Midnight @ Times Square,
Gray's Papaya (found TWO Filipinos!),
Saint Mark's (kew place), Washington
Square Park and the chainsaw-apple-knife
juggling Brit on a stick, er, bike;
the Esplanade-Brooklyn Bridge, four
dollar movies on 50th Street, questing
for buddha beads in The Village,
running away from a freak storm on a Friday.
AWEsome views and pictures on a
roof, garden and big sky. The last few moments in La Guardia.
