 The faulty sound card vxd (at least that's what I think is plonkt) 
 that's been infecting my pc has taken the upper hand and crashed the whole damn thing.
 I spend more than four hours trying to fix/repair/restore the damage, but it gets too
 frustrating. 

 Scouring the net for help merits little useful info. 
 Something Steve Bass said about the mistaken notion that pcs are supposed to make life easier.
